  • create an original inter-disciplinary curriculum of activities for the school year

2000-2003    JET Programme (English teacher in Japanese high school, Osaka, Japan)

  • designed oral communication curriculum for first year high school students in Japan

  • built cross-cultural relationships and fostered the understanding necessary for the exchange of Japanese and Western teaching values

2001-2003    KyoRyuKan Theater Company (Kyoto, Japan)

  • involved in all aspects of theatrical production for the company (set building, lighting, costume and prop construction, performing)

  • helped produce and perform in monthly community events designed to create dialogue between foreign artists and the Japanese communities in which they lived
